CALLING ALL ANIMATORS, FILMMAKERS, AND ILLUSTRATORS!

Do you want to take part in a huge Miraculous fan project? Then go no further!

I’ve always enjoyed fan reanimation projects, and I thought it would be a fun thing for ML fans to take on to celebrate the show we all love. Artists will sign up to recreate individual shots from the chosen episode, which will all be edited together to create an awesome collaborative piece containing different styles, mediums, and ideas!

Who We Need: Animators, Filmmakers, and Illustrators

Details: Recreate your shot in any way that you like: 2D, 3D, stop motion, puppets – heck, dress up in cosplay and film yourselves! It doesn’t matter what medium or style you choose, just make something! Even if you don’t have much experience with animating or film making, but want to try out something new, sign up – there are plenty of beginner shots that you can learn with. This is meant to be a fun project, so don’t stress about it. There are also some still shots illustrators can take on, as well as slots for end credit illustrations.

Take on a shot alone or gather a team and collaborate, just make sure it’s your own work and that you have fun with it!

Disney/Hulu/ 20th Century Fox Television has greenlighted a new show from R&M Writter Mike McMahan & Rick and Morty Co Creator Justin Roiland Solar Opposites being the First Disney/FOX series to air on Hulu

The streaming service has given a two-season, 16-episode order to Solar Opposites, an animated series from Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland and one of that show’s writers and executive producers, Mike McMahan.

Solar Opposites follows a family of aliens “from a better world” who take refuge in middle America. Roiland will also voice two of the characters; Sean Giambrone (The Goldbergs) and comedian Mary Mack are also in the cast.

The series comes from 20th Century Fox TV and will be Hulu’s first animated show from the studio. It’s slated to premiere in 2020.

Roiland and McMahon will have to split their time between Solar Opposites and Rick and Morty, the breakout Adult Swim hit that earned a huge 70-episode renewal in May. The pickup will likely keep R&M on well into the 2020s at its current output of 10 or 11 episodes per season.
