I thought it would’ve been funnier to center the comic around the whole premise/initial meeting with Hekapoo. I was inspired by the idea of ‘what if Hekapoo actually got to confront the ‘real’ thief of her scissors?’ But much like the original show Ponyhead dodges responsibility anyway. 

As mentioned before: Mars had already earned his own pair of scissors well before the events of the ‘show.

Mars catches up to Starla thanks to info from Ponyhead. It’s never shown how, that’s just his explanation for why he went all “Hekapoo! Where’s Starla!?” At the tail-end of the episode. Grown up Starla can be seen here.

Jenny Slate to Star in Disney Junior’s Reboot of ‘Muppet Babies’

She will voice Miss Nanny in the network’s revival of the beloved children’s show

Zootopia’s Jenny Slate signed on to voice the role of Miss Nanny in Disney Junior’s animated series Muppet Babies, which debuts in March on Disney Channel.

In tradition with the original Emmy-winning series, Miss Nanny’s character will be visible only from the torso down. Originally voiced by the late Barbara Billingsley (Leave It to Beaver), the role centers around a woman who takes care of a nursery; the stories are told from the babies’ perspective.

“I was so excited when they asked me to be Miss Nanny; I was excited in general to hear they were returning,” Slate, a lifelong Muppets fan, said.

The series will use the characters Kermit the Frog, Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, Animal, Muppet Baby and Summer Penguin to encourage creative thinking and imagination.

Miss Nanny’s patterned tights will always be a nod to the episode’s theme.

Also joining the cast are Melanie Harrison (Fish Hooks) as Piggy, Dee Bradley Baker (Milo Murphy’s Law) as Animal, Ben Diskin (The Spectacular Spider-Man) as Gonzo, Eric Bauza (The Adventures of Puss in Boots) as Fozzie Bear and Jessica DiCicco (Puppy Dog Pals) as Summer. Rounding out the cast as Kermit is Matt Danner (Gravity Falls), who also serves as supervising director on the series.

Yeeeee finally finished my batch of Steven AU designs and I think they turned out better than I originally thought they would! Gotta say its fun to play around with this lil cutie’s design, and I actually was pretty inspired with AU ideas while working on this. But anyway, as per usual, here is the list, going from top left and working our way down:

7. Water Mom/Gem Bros Steven (new design here) who kinda takes a little after his mom in the bangs department because yes
8. Crystal Falls Steven, with really nothing new about his design cause yes
9. Monster Falls Rose Dryad Steven, whose aggressive instincts are forcing him to be all threatening and shit because yes

So yeah, thems all the Stevos. Feel free to let me know which one is your favorite (personally I think Water Mom/Gem Bros Steven turned out ADORABLE). Next time around for these new AU sheets will likely be Mabel. Enjoy!
